Torched

Adjective
A state of being that entirely rejects the capitalist system. A Torched person is unable or unwilling to watch the world remain in a state of corporate control, and seeks to do anything to see the world changed. For Furies, being Torched is a rite of passage and represents the moment at which a person can no longer sit back and do nothing while the Solar System is predated by corporations.
Though there is no confirmed origin of the term, “torched” likely originated from its root: meaning to be burned, often violently. Being “burned” by the capitalist system can be equated with the usage of term “torched.”
